    UAE president welcomes Egypt’s El-Sisi in Abu Dhabi

    President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of Egypt arrived in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday for a fraternal visit to the United Arab Emirates. The visit underscores the close bilateral relations between the two nations and reflects the ongoing coordination on various regional and international matters. UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan personally received President El-Sisi upon his arrival at the Presidential Airport in Abu Dhabi.

    The high-level reception highlights the strong ties and mutual respect shared by the leadership of both countries. Accompanying the UAE President at the airport were several senior Emirati officials. Among them were Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President; and Dr. Ahmed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the President’s Office for Strategic Affairs and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office.

    The Egyptian leader’s visit comes amid continued cooperation between the UAE and Egypt across various sectors, including political, economic, and security domains. Both countries have consistently worked together on regional stability initiatives and share aligned views on many pressing international issues. Meetings between the two presidents are expected to focus on enhancing bilateral ties and discussing developments in the region.

    The leaders traditionally exchange views on matters of mutual concern, including efforts to strengthen economic partnerships, boost trade and investment, and coordinate positions on regional conflicts. The UAE and Egypt have maintained a longstanding partnership, frequently engaging in high-level visits and joint initiatives.

    This latest visit is seen as part of ongoing diplomatic engagement aimed at further solidifying the strategic relationship between the two nations.
