    Historic meeting between UAE and Egyptian presidents highlights cooperation and investment

    During a special visit to the historic city of El Alamein, President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi convened to discuss the strengthening of brotherly ties between their nations. The leaders engaged in an in-depth conversation on the mutual interests, cooperation, and continuous development of relationships that exist between the UAE and Egypt.

    The comprehensive discussion included a detailed review of the existing areas of collaboration between the two nations, with a primary focus on economic and investment sectors. President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed and President El-Sisi examined strategies to further enhance ongoing progress and prosperity. They expressed a shared vision for expanding cooperation into new areas, strengthening the bond for the greater good of both countries and their citizens.

    On the global front, the two leaders also devoted time to assess regional and international developments. Emphasizing the importance of cohesive Arab action, they highlighted the need to ensure security, stability, peace, and development within the region. Both leaders demonstrated a keen awareness of the region’s challenges and expressed commitment to collaboration in these critical areas.

    The UAE and Egyptian Presidents also articulated a strong desire to augment bilateral coordination in light of the various challenges facing the region. They declared their unwavering intention to collaborate and work closely, further solidifying a partnership that has significant implications for regional stability and progress.

    Accompanying the leaders were distinguished figures including His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Court; H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation; H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Special Affairs Advisor at the Presidential Court; and Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology.
