Air Arabia has announced the launch of a new route connecting Sharjah International Airport and Sochi International Airport in Russia. The non-stop service will commence on June 27, 2025, operating with a frequency of three flights per week. The addition of Sochi marks the sixth Russian city served directly by Air Arabia from Sharjah, joining Moscow, Kazan, Samara, Ufa, and Yekaterinburg. The airline also operates non-stop services to Russia from its other UAE hubs, including flights between Ras Al Khaimah International Airport and Moscow, as well as Abu Dhabi International Airport and Yekaterinburg.

New Air Arabia route connects Sharjah and Russia’s Sochi

Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia, emphasized the strategic importance of the new route, saying, “This new connection reflects our commitment to providing customers with more travel options and contributing to the growth of tourism and trade between the two countries. We look forward to welcoming customers onboard this exciting new service.”

The move is part of Air Arabia’s ongoing efforts to expand its network and enhance connectivity between the United Arab Emirates and Russia. By offering greater access to destinations such as Sochi, a prominent resort city on Russia’s Black Sea coast, the airline aims to cater to growing demand from leisure and business travelers while fostering bilateral trade and tourism.

The Sharjah-based carrier continues to play a significant role in strengthening air travel links between the Middle East and key international markets. Sochi’s inclusion in Air Arabia’s expanding network aligns with the airline’s growth strategy and commitment to providing affordable travel options across a wide range of destinations.

With its extensive connectivity to Russia, Air Arabia is well-positioned to support increased cultural and economic exchange between the two nations. Sochi, known for its year-round appeal as a tourism hub, is expected to attract significant interest from travelers in the UAE and across the region.

This latest expansion highlights Air Arabia’s broader vision of providing seamless travel experiences while contributing to the development of global connectivity through its expanding route network. The airline remains committed to meeting passenger needs with affordable, efficient, and reliable services. – By MENA Newswire News Desk.
